Simone Smith

Meet Simoné, the owner and creative heartbeat of Skin Misfits - professional tattoo artist, and full-time Monster Energy-fueled menace (but like... the lovable kind).

Simoné’s style is a bold blend of realism-meets-80s-sticker-bombing, with a deep love for all things spooky, nostalgic, and a little bit weird (in the best way). Think glittery bats, pixelated hearts, fine-line bones, and cursed Pokémon cards — if it sounds like it came from your childhood pencil case and a haunted VHS tape, it’s her jam.

Basically: if Lisa Frank and a horror movie had a baby — she’d tattoo it.

People say she's scary until yo get to know her - and honestly, fair. Simone is kind and caring, but also firm with her boundaries, values, and vision. Her shop is a safe space, with a strict zero-tolerance policy for racism, homophobia, or xenophobia - no exceptions, no apologies.

Simone doesn't just run the shop - she built it from the ground up to be a place where weird is welcome, art is sacred, and everyone's story matters.

Say hello to Kevin, our senior artist, cover-up wizard, and unofficial in-house entertainer. With years of experience and a portfolio packed full of classic sleeves, vibrant realism, and gaming-inspired goodness, Kevin is the go-to guy for transforming regret into jaw-dropping art.

He specializes in cover-ups, full-color florals, cartoon characters, and watercolor themes that burst with personality and precision.

And if you’re new here, brace yourself — you’re getting more than a tattoo.

As Kevin loves to say:

He’s got a dark sense of humor, a loud singing voice, and zero hesitation when it comes to belting along with the playlist while he works. His clients love it — and you probably will too.

When he’s not tattooing, you’ll find him sipping coffee, catching Pokémon, reading comics, or making people laugh without even trying. He’s also an incredible listener — especially when clients open up in the chair — creating a space that’s as real as the art he creates
